Product Description
'Carré Rouge' is a compact, erect, evergreen shrub with glossy, lanceloate leaves, brilliant-red when young, later turning a shiny dark-green. Denser and more colourful than 'Red Robin'. Clusters of small, white flowers appear in spring. Plant in full in full sun/partial shade in a moist well drained fertile soil. Hardiness: H5. Prune hard in spring if needed. If grown as a hedge trim two or three times during the growing season to encourage new red foliage. Eventual height of 3m and a spread of 2.5m in 10-20 years. Good for pollinators.
