Product Description
Miscanthus sin Ferner Osten is a deciduous grass that grows tall and in clumps. Perfect to be planted in a group to give a mixed flowerbed some height and texture. The foliage turns a lovely dull orange colour in autumn, and attractive feather like flowers appear, which are a beautiful deep red, these turn paler as the colder weather arrives. Plant in full sun in a moist well drained fertile soil. Hardiness: H6. Pruning: Remove dead foliage and old flowered stems in spring. Eventual height of 1.5m and a spread of 1m in 2-5 years. RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit).
