The 'May Green' is a fantastic little evergreen shrub that has a dense and bushy habit – making it the perfect choice for planting as an informal hedge. The tiny leaves are ovate in shape, bright green in colour and very much like the leaves of a buxus (box plant); like the buxus, they respond well to pruning, meaning that this bush can be kept as a desirable height. The 'May Green' also features creamy spring flowers, which adds further interest in the season. As well as planting this as a shrub, it can also be planted in a mixed bed or border.
