Villosa is a late flowering hydrangea, from August onwards. The beautiful deep purple flowers appear from lacecap flower heads and cover the branches of the plant. The foliage is mid green, soft and almost velvety to touch before falling in the cooler months. This hydrangea can grow reasonably tall so is perfect to position at the back of a mixed flowerbed.
