'Gaudi Pink' is a compact, mound-forming deciduous perennial, with upright stems bearing narrow spoon-shaped, dark green leaves, flushed maroon when young. Wand-like panicles of slender, red buds opening to star-shaped, mid- to pale pink flowers from early summer into autumn. Plant in full sun in a moist well drained fertile soil. Hardiness: H4. Pruning: Can be cut back by half after flowering in midsummer to encourage bushy growth and a second flush of flowers. Cut back in spring before new growth appears. Eventual height of 0.4m and a spread of 0.5m in 2-5 years.
