Are we open to the public?

We are mail order only

Why do we not put actual plant heights on the website?

We are frequently asked why we do not put the current plant height information in the description. We do not add this information as the plants never one height for long, either through growth or pruning the sizing can vary throughout the year. Some deciduous plants are considerably smaller in the Winter when the foliage has fallen and some perennials die right back before the fresh growth appears in the Spring. Please be aware plants may have been pruned before despatch. 

We cannot guarantee heights, however please contact us at and we will provide a current approximate size and photo. 


Sometimes we are unable to supply all of the plants that have been ordered. This is primarily due to quality, we are stringent on our quality standards and therefore when picking orders we will use our judgment and decide whether or not the plant is good enough to send. I'm sure you can appreciate that being living plants, the quality fluctuates over the course of the seasons and I would rather cancel and refund rather than send a plant I am not happy with. Thankfully this is not a common occurrence. 

Stock levels are generally lower on the website than what we actually have on the nursery. If there is plant that you were more of than we are advertising then please do contact us at and we can confirm if there is more stock available. 


We will never substitute your plants unless otherwise agreed with you. If one of the plants is unavailable then we will contact you and refund. 

Where do you deliver your items to?

We deliver to all parts of mainland England, Scotland and Wales at our standard rate of £6.95. Deliveries to The Scottish Highlands and all off shore UK Islands may incur a further charge. These prices are calculated on an order by order basis in the checkout area.

Please note, we do not charge extra for the Highlands and Islands by choice, unfortunately all couriers charge a premium for delivery to these areas

Will I receive confirmation of my order?

All orders placed though our webshop will receive an automated order acknowledgement from us to the email address you supplied when you placed the order. A further email notification will be sent to confirm your purchase has been shipped to the required delivery destination along with a approximate delivery date.

What is the difference between a 9cm, 2ltr and 3ltr?

We understand the frustration of opening your product only to find you've paid the same for a small 9cm potted plant than we supply in a much larger 2 or 3ltr pot. We only supply established 2/3ltr plants, a 9cm potted plant is what we consider to be a "Liner" which needs a further 8-12 months of further growing to become established, ready for the garden.

An item I was l considering has been removed?

Unlike some retailers we only advertise products we have in stock, which we can supply immediately. We will not take your money in advance to supply a product months later. If a product has been removed then unfortunately we no longer have any stock. If you cannot find the product elsewhere please contact us, and if we can, we will find it for you.

Do you offer a plant guarantee? 

We do not offer a guarantee in terms of 5 years/lifetime guarantees as there as too many variables that can affect the growth and life of a plant (location, nearby pesticide spraying, over pruning, under or over watering or unusually cold or hot temperature extremes) However, we do stand by the quality of our plants and will rectify any issue that occurs either with a replacement plant if we are at fault or advice and help if there is an environmental issue. 

How soon after I place my order will the items be delivered to me?

All of the orders as despatched as soon as possible, during the busier times of the year it may take a day or 2 longer however we expect all orders to be delivered within 7 days. We use a standard 24hr delivery process meaning we aim to have your order with you as soon as possible.

Will all items arrive at the same time?

Only products that we have in stock are advertised in our webshop. If you order your items together then they will be shipped together and providing our courier can deliver them they will all arrive together.
Can I have the items delivered to an address other than my home address? Your preferred delivery address does not have to be your home or billing address. You can enter specific delivery requirements into the checkout area.

How will my order arrive?

Your product will arrive in our specially designed 100% recyclable container via a specially chosen courier. Our plant boxes are strong and secure meaning your product should arrive as we sent it.

How secure are my details on your website?

All payments are made through PayPal's and Stripe secure servers. We do not handle your personal payment details. PLEASE NOTE, WE CANNOT TAKE ORDERS OVER THE PHONE
