'Eucalyptus dalrympleana' is a fast growing, evergreen, large shrub or tree with white and grey flaking bark, oval, grey-green juvenile leaves and long, narrow, dropping, dark grey-green mature leaves that are bronze when young. White flowers bloom in summer and autumn. Plant in full sun in a moist well drained soil. Hardiness: H5. Pruning group 1, or for the best display of juvenile foliage use Pruning group 7. Eventual height of 40m and a spread of 8m (if left to grow) in 10-20 years. RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit).

This can be coppiced to keep the tree at the desired height.
