'Elsa Spath' is a deciduous, climbing perennial with green ovate foliage, large rich, purple-blue flowers with contrasting red centres appear from early to late-summer. Plant in full sun/partial shade in a moist well drained fertile soil.

Hardiness: H6. Clematis pruning group 2. Eventual height of 3m and a spread of 1m in 2-5 years. RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit). Good for pollinators.
