'Constance' is a medium-sized, deciduous climber with mid-green leaves divided into 3 leaflets with serrated leaf margins. In mid to late spring semi-double, deep-pink, bell shaped flowers appear, sometimes followed by attractive, fluffy seedheads in autumn. Plant in full sun/partial shade in a moist well drained fertile soil.

Hardiness: H6. Clematis pruning: group one. Eventual height of 2.5m and a spread of 1.5m in 2-5 years. RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit).
