An RHS Garden Merit award winner, Abutilon Megapotamicum is a shrubby climber that produces a profusion of delightful red and yellow lantern shaped flowers.
This variety is particularly long flowering (it can start late spring/early summer and will continue well into the autumn)
Growing to an eventual height of around 2 metres, this variety is one of the hardiest Abutilons though it will prefer being in a sheltered situation and ideally kept protected from frost (either by bringing inside or by using fleece)
Hardiness - H5 (Between 1 and -5 degrees)
Eventual Height and Width - 2m x 1.5m
